Each painting in this series comes from a line of the song All Creatures of our God and King, which beautifully celebrates the earth.

Wind is like a hug from nature that envelopes your body in a way nothing else can.  The sense that something is brushing against you that has been brushing against the grass and leaves and all the other living things.  You can’t see it, but you can see the effect it has on the grass and trees. As gentle as a mother’s kiss or strong enough to tear away whatever is in its path.

This moody piece has some romance and promise in it.  A path, should you choose to follow, and the chance of sun or rain, depending on which way the wind blows.
