Ripe 16x20 oil on stretched canvas

This tree is one I see at the local farm stand and it’s grace and elegance has bewitched me.  I love the feel of the branch reaching out and the apples fully ripe, like the tree is at the pinnacle of the season and its reason for being.  I have made batches of apple sauce from freshly fallen apples and eaten crisp bright apples freshly picked from branches such as these.  

I hope this array of green brings light and feelings of satisfaction and romance into the home where it belongs.
