Each painting in this series comes from a line of the song All Creatures of our God and King, which beautifully celebrates the earth.

As I was driving past a portion of the marshland near where I live, the sky and the light hit me and I pulled the car over and my kids and I rushed out of the car and down the path to this hidden inlet.  Even in the stark winter, the beauty was otherworldly.  The sounds of wildlife and the wind blowing the grass promised peace.  I tried to capture this feeling here.
