Darkness comes. When it comes, I remind myself that it is a pattern and that part of the design is that Light comes next. We see the model in the spinning earth and its sunset and sunrise. That feeling of love that comes when the darkness draws farther away and my soul is enveloped with hope and light is what I was meditating on while laying paint down on the canvas for this piece.
