Each painting in this series comes from a line of the song All Creatures of our God and King, which beautifully celebrates the earth.  

I live in an area where woods surround me on every turn.  You walk into a wooded area and think you are alone, but if you stand still long enough and observe, you realize that you are surrounded by life.  The light hits differently with every step you take and with every breeze that moves the branches overhead.  The movement of the birds and animals surround you and even the plants and insects give off energy and movement.
