This was going to turn into something more finished, but I couldn’t bring myself to paint one more stroke.  I love the way this suggests floral but leaves so much up to the imagination.  Sometimes one of the hardest parts about making art is knowing when to stop painting.  With this piece, I set it aside to work on it the next day, and when I walked back into my studio I looked at it and realized that I had finished it without even realizing.  I might want to hang it next to my bed so I can look at it each morning…unless you would like to claim it as your own.
